The Tellus Group acquires Danderyds Enskilda skola AB and strengthens its position in Stockholm

The Tellus Group has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in Danderyds Enskilda skola AB, which operates the Småbarnsskolan preschool and the Elevverket elementary school in Danderyd.

Småbarnsskolan was founded in 1995 by Charlotte Engdahl, and Elevverket was founded in 2003 by Charlotte Engdahl together with Cilla Collman; since then, they have run the schools together, with Cilla Collman serving as principal until last fall. The company operates a high-quality, small-scale program that is in high demand and has strong ties to the local community.

The acquisition is being carried out for a purchase price of SEK 6.5 million on a debt-free basis and is being financed entirely through existing cash reserves. Danderyds Enskilda skola AB generated approximately SEK 30 million in revenue during the 2024/2025 fiscal year, which means the acquisition is expected to contribute approximately 6 percent to the Group’s revenue growth. From the closing date, the acquisition is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s operating profit and cash flow per share.

“The fact that we can complete this acquisition using our own funds demonstrates our financial strength and our ability to grow using our own cash flow. The acquisition further strengthens our revenue, and we see favorable conditions for continued stable growth in our margins within these units,” says Bijan Fahimi, CEO of the Tellus Group.

The operations will be integrated into Tellusbarn and Tellusskolan, respectively, creating synergies in administration and central support functions. Principal Håkan Melin will continue in his role, ensuring continuity in the operations. The operations will continue to be run with the same profile as today.

The transaction is expected to close in May 2026 and is subject to customary approval by the Swedish Agency for Strategic Products (ISP).

With this acquisition, the Tellus Group is continuing its strategy of growth by adding stable operations that offer high educational quality and strong local roots, while the Group’s financial position and cash flow generation enable continued expansion.
