The Tellus Group is expanding its product range
Published: October 5, 2022
Omniglot is one of Sweden’s leading providers of native-language instruction and academic support for elementary schools. The company employs approximately 200 teachers who are fluent in over 70 different languages.
“Through its school operations, the Tellus Group has new opportunities to develop Omniglott’s offerings with a focus on educational and regulatory quality. “We will develop the digital opportunities available in and around native language instruction and academic support, particularly with regard to distance learning,” says Bijan Fahimi, CEO of the Tellus Group. Digital education also opens up a whole new opportunity for schools in smaller towns to offer every conceivable language to their students, since it doesn’t matter where the teacher is physically located.
This acquisition opens up an exciting opportunity for the Tellus Group to enter the EdTech sector.
"The deal will also have a positive financial impact on the Tellus Group's operations," says Bijan Fahimi. "The Group is increasing both its growth and profitability. Greater diversification also reduces political exposure."
