The Tellus Group receives a revolving credit facility from its principal owner

Published: December 22, 2023

The Tellus Group experiences significant seasonal and quarterly fluctuations in its liquidity. To avoid burdening the company with unnecessary long-term debt, the company’s principal owner, Bina Holding AB, provides a revolving credit facility that allows the Tellus Group to borrow additional cash for shorter periods as and when the need arises.

Bina Holding AB is owned by Vice Chairwoman Narges Moshiri and CEO Bijan Fahimi, both of whom are co-founders of Tellusgruppen AB.

Under the revolving credit facility arrangement, Bina Holding, provided it is able to do so, offers revolving credit on the days and weeks when the Tellus Group requires additional credit. The credit is provided without fixed fees and is repaid once the need has ceased. In return, Bina Holding receives interest at a rate of 15 percent per annum.

Under this arrangement, the Tellus Group can repay the approximately SEK 7 million in external debt financing that the company took on in connection with the acquisition of the parent company Omniglot. This arrangement is conducive to repaying the company’s other debts at a faster pace going forward.
