The Tellus Group is launching “Intelligent School Solutions” to develop AI in the education sector
Published: June 27, 2023
“With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, digitalization in the education sector will accelerate in the coming years,” says Bijan Fahimi, CEO of the Tellus Group. “It therefore makes perfect sense for us to develop our services in this area. Our goal is to contribute to the ongoing transformation of the education sector, and the new company is a step in that direction.”
The Tellus Group holds a 70 percent majority stake in the company, and Mathias Sundin owns the remaining stake.
“We are starting our work within the company by prioritizing the development of applications based on OpenAI technology,” says Mathias Sundin. “With the help of this technology, schools’ work with text—both in educational contexts and for administrative tasks—will be significantly enhanced. By harnessing the power of AI, schools’ work will become better and more efficient.”
As part of the partnership between the Tellus Group and Mathias Sundin, the Tellus Group will sponsor the Warp Institute, a leading think tank focused on future technologies. In connection with this, all Tellus Group employees are being offered membership in Warp News – Premium Supporter, which gives over 600 employees access to the institute’s newsletter, in-depth articles, and opportunities to participate in events and activities organized by Warp News.
“An important aspect of the Tellus Group’s involvement in the edtech sector is that we want to offer our staff at our schools and preschools the opportunity to help shape the school of the future,” says Bijan Fahimi. “We want to retain and attract teachers, preschool teachers, and educators who want to work in environments that are at the forefront of digital transformation.”
