At the annual general meeting of Tellusgruppen AB (publ) on June 8, 2023, the outgoing board was granted discharge from liability for the next fiscal year, and two new members were elected to the board.

The Annual General Meeting resolved to approve the Board of Directors’ proposed appropriation of the company’s net income, as set forth in the management report, meaning that the company’s net income will be carried forward.

The Annual General Meeting also resolved to discharge the members of the Board of Directors and the CEO from liability for the 2022 fiscal year.

The Annual General Meeting resolved to expand the Board from six members to seven. At the Annual General Meeting, two new members were elected to the Tellus Group Board: Ida Karlberg-Gidlund and Adel Koubaa.

Following the election, the Board consists of members Ida Karlberg-Gidlund, Adel Koubaa, Elnaz Madani, Narges Moshiri, Caj Perrin, and Luca Di Stefano, as well as Thomas Gür, who serves as the Board’s chair.

Ida Karlberg-Gidlund is the CEO and co-founder of the fundraising foundation Teach for Sweden, which works to promote educational equity. Teach for Sweden offers leaders an opportunity to shape the future of Swedish schools and young people through knowledge. Ida Karlberg-Gidlund is a former subject teacher and school principal.

“With Adel and Ida, we’re gaining a great addition to the Tellus Group’s board,” says Board Chairman Thomas Gür. “Ida brings valuable expertise from the education sector and her experience serving on various boards. Adel brings her experience in corporate affairs and mother-tongue instruction, particularly to our new subsidiary, Omniglot.”
