The Tellus Group announced today that it has begun rolling out its proprietary AI-based platform, Kentaur, across the Group’s preschool operations. The platform is currently being tested on a limited scale in the Group’s own facilities, with the goal of gradually replacing external system solutions after the summer break in 2026. The initiative is expected to improve quality and the user experience for both parents and staff. In addition, it will result in cost savings and serve as a platform for continued development and quality support.

Kentaur was developed in close collaboration with educators in the schools, principals, and the school district. The focus is on addressing specific needs in day-to-day operations. The platform brings together key functions in administration, educational documentation, and quality assurance into a single integrated system.

The initial version of Kentaur covers core functions equivalent to those of traditional school platforms, but is designed from the outset for broader integration of business-critical processes. In addition to educational and administrative functions, the platform also includes components for monitoring, analysis, and management at the school district level, which creates better conditions for data-driven operational development.

Replacing fragmented system environments with a unified platform creates the conditions for increased efficiency, reduced administrative burden, and a more structured and continuous quality assurance process. Integrated AI support in key workflows also enables more time-efficient handling of recurring tasks.

“This isn’t just a side project. Kentaur has emerged from our own need to simplify, improve, and gain greater control over our core processes. The first version is an important step, but above all, it’s a starting point for continued development,” says Bijan Fahimi, CEO of the Tellus Group.

During the spring and summer of 2026, development of the platform will continue with additional features in areas such as educational support, systematic quality assurance, and enhanced analytics. At the same time, implementation will be expanded across the Group’s preschools.

The long-term goal is for Kentaur to evolve into a group-wide platform capable of replacing several separate systems, which is expected to contribute to both cost efficiency and enhanced operational control. The experience gained from the initial implementation will also serve as the foundation for gradual further development and potential commercialization.

The Tellus Group plans to provide further updates as the implementation progresses.
